How to begin development of your Brandvantage Brand IdentityMany options exist in determining what your brand should be named. It can be as simple as naming the brand the same name as your company. This option is valuable in building equity and name recognition for your company, especially if you have used your company name in the past on a private label. If you would like to launch an all new brand with a high quality image, other options exist. Regional images are effective, such as the Lone Star brand in Texas, or the Big Sky brand in Montana. Brand names that are slightly more generic create an image of high quality and are very effective, such as Pinnacle brand, Summit brand, or Royal Brand. All of these names can be associated with an image that is eye-catching and appealing, resulting in a successful package design.
Step 2: We develop brand design concepts based on your nameOnce you have determined the name of your brand, our design team takes over and formulates several concepts that are complementary to your brand name. We will also design a new logo for the brand if necessary. Photographs of specific scenes are effective, as well as textures such as marble, for example. If you have a specific image in mind to incorporate with your brand name, we will develop designs with that as an option. We will also make other suggestions if we feel something else would be more effective, but if you are dead-set on a concept, we will supply it to you. After you have reviewed some concepts and have chosen one and approved it, it is time to go to the next step, expanding it across your entire product line into a packaging system.
Step 3: We expand your chosen concept into a packaging systemAfter you have approved a master design, we will work with you to make additional decisions. The first thing to consider is how to name your products. Do you want to name your products with a secondary brand name such as Hot Shot, or name them with a generic description such as No-Rinse Speed Stripper? Generic descriptions are usually more effective, resulting in simpler communication and a stronger image for the overall brand. Once product names have been determined, the entire packaging system will be developed. We will work with you to determine color coding by product category and decide if you want to incorporate a numbering system for all of your products. Once you see color proofs of all of your labels, and after you have approved them, we will be ready to go into production.
Step 4: We fulfill your first Brandvantage orderOnce your labels are approved we will schedule your first order for production. You will automatically receive multi-colored specification sheets for all of the products on your first order 2 weeks after your order. This is because we need to photograph each of your products after labels have been printed to include color photographs of each of them on the spec sheets.

NEW LABEL DEVELOPMENT FORM CLICK HERE!Copyrights and Trademarks.The Client hereby covenants and unconditionally guarantees that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets or other artwork of any artistic, literary or dramatic nature (collectively, the “Work”) furnished to Misco Products Corporation (“Misco”) for inclusion in label design, marketing material, promotion, advertising or any other use under the Brandvantage program of Misco are owned by the Client or that the Client has permission from the rightful owner to use the Work, to the extent that the use of the Work by Misco would not constitute an unauthorized dealing of the Work. The Client hereby covenants and agrees to hold harmless, protect, indemnify and defend Misco, its employees and its subcontractors from and against any and all claims or demands of any nature, including a breach of any covenant contained herein and claims of infringement of any patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets or other proprietary rights, by or on behalf of any person or entity, including the costs and expenses to defend (i.e. actual attorneys’ fees and expenses, court costs, and costs of appeals), damages, losses or any other sums arising from the use of the Work or otherwise in connection herewith. The Client further promises, covenants and agrees not to bring, commence, prosecute or maintain, or cause or permit to be brought, commenced, prosecuted or maintained, any suit or action, either at law or in equity, in any court in the United States, or in any State thereof or elsewhere, against Misco, its employees or its subcontractors for infringement, property damage or any other type of loss, arising out of or in any way connected with the Work or otherwise herewith. The Client shall remain liable to pay all sums due and owing to Misco under the relevant contract and all Work shall remain in the possession, control and custody of Misco to ensure full compliance with these covenants, including the receipt of full payment to Misco for all sums due and owing hereunder.
